Ways to give

Ash-Shifaa is registered with the Wakf Board of Sri Lanka and approved as a charity by the Ministry of Finance (Gazette No. 1907/18).

Zakat

Your obligatory giving, supporting children with special needs and their families. Write "Zakat" in your transfer reference so we can record it separately.

Sadaqah

Voluntary charity of any amount, any time. Many donors give monthly with a standing order. Reference: "Sadaqah".

General

For everyone who wants to help, whatever their faith. Reference: "Donation" and your name.

Giving takes three steps

  1. Transfer

    Send any amount to People's Bank or Amana Bank, by online banking, app or at the counter.

  2. Add a reference

    Your name plus Zakat, Sadaqah or Donation, so your gift is used as you intend.

  3. Send your receipt

Giving from overseas

  • Ask your bank for an international (SWIFT) transfer to Sri Lanka, using the SWIFT code of either account above.
  • Beneficiary name: Ash-Shifaa. Beneficiary address: No.665 6th Lane, Eksath Mawatha, Kalapaluwawa, Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka.
  • Your bank and intermediary banks may charge fees. Choosing "sender pays all charges" (OUR) means the full amount arrives.
